Migraines and RA

I am 47 years old and have suffered from migraines since I was 8. I was diagnosed with RA almost 3 years ago after living with the pain and the flares for over a decade, having no idea why. My question is this, when I take my Imitrex for a migraine (the only medication that helps), it makes my joints so sore, I feel like I'm having a flare. I am on Methotrexate and Humira now, and even that does not help the amount of pain I'm in when I take the Imitrex. Has anybody else experienced this? If so, what are some alternative medications I can consider for my migraines that won't cause my joints to hurt so much? I have tried Midrin, Relpax, and hydrocodone, and none have worked on treating my migraines. I also take Naproxen or Tylenol Arthritis Strength when I take the Imitrex to help ease some of the joint pain....but it's still sometimes unbearable.
